Black MGA Pilots Inspire High Schoolers to Pursue Careers in Aviation

Four Black pilots from MGA's School of Aviation are inspiring Hancock Central High School students to break barriers and pursue careers in the aviation industry. 13WMAZ highlighted the students in a recent story.

"With less than four percent of commercial pilots in the U.S. being Black, according to the 2023 U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, representation in aviation remains a challenge. But four Black pilots from Middle Georgia State University’s School of Aviation are working to change that.

"Dublin native Timothy Willis and three fellow pilots visited Hancock Central High School to inspire students to consider careers in aviation. Their message was clear: the sky is not the limit — it's just the beginning."
