AITS/ISC2 Coffeehouse Speaker Series March Events: Honoring Women in Information Technology

Make plans to join the Association of Information Technology Students (AITS) and Middle Georgia chapter of ISC2 at their Coffeehouse Speaker Series March events themed, "Honoring Women in Information Technology: Dreams, Aspirations, and Impact."

Women in information technology are trailblazers, innovators, and problem-solvers who make remarkable contributions in the workplace, at home, in their communities, and across the globe. As we celebrate National Women’s Day and Women’s History Month, we recognize the resilience, dedication, and dreams of women in technology who are breaking barriers, inspiring future generations, and shaping a more inclusive digital future.

From coding breakthroughs to cybersecurity defenses, from leading IT initiatives to mentoring the next wave of tech talent, women in IT continue to drive change. Beyond their careers, they balance roles as mothers, caregivers, mentors, and community leaders. They demonstrate that technology is not just about innovation but also about impact and connection.

The next AITS/ISC2 Coffeehouse speaker program will be a virtual event co-sponsored by the MGA Women in Technology (WIT) organization. The School of Computing will host a series of women in technology sessions.
