NextGen Coders Enrollment Triples with New MGA, 21st Century Partnership

After partnering with Middle Georgia State University (MGA) and 21st Century, NextGen Coders saw an incredible increase in enrollment, tripling their class size from 20 to 70 students. The student-led nonprofit program is designed to teach youths to code through free beginner and intermediate-level classes offered on MGA's Warner Robins Campus.

13WMAZ reported on the enrollment increase, speaking with Michael Do, a founder of NextGen Coders

"The program launched in September 2024 at the Nola Brantley Memorial Library before partnering with Middle Georgia State University and the 21st Century Partnership, which helps ensure Robins Airforce Base has the talent it needs.

"'Now we have access to auditoriums and computer labs, so now students don't even have to bring their own Chromebooks or laptops. They can actually use the computers provided by this university,' Do said."
