Congratulations to MGA Master of Arts in Technical and Professional Writing graduate Sara Freeland, who has been named the new Director of Communications for the City of Winder.
"Freeland holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Georgia and a master’s degree in technical and professional writing from Middle Georgia State University. She is accredited in public relations (APR) and was recognized as one of PRSA Georgia’s 40 Under 40 in 2020.
"'I am honored to join the City of Winder team,' said Freeland. 'I have fond memories of the Winder area. I am excited to use my skills to celebrate our vibrant community, keep residents informed, and ensure open communication between the city and its citizens.'"
