The Knights were back on the road on Saturday, Feb. 22, as they headed to Tifton to take on the Fillies of Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. The Knights won the first two conference games of the season on Friday and were looking to add two more to the total on Saturday.
The Fillies did not go away quietly as they scored four runs in the bottom of the seventh inning, but the Knights found a way to get the final out to win 7-5. Emily Proctor and Madisyn Riggins got the wins for each game, striking out five batters.
The Knights will be back in action on Friday, Feb. 28, when they host the Nighthawks of Thomas University. First pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m.
