Museum of Technology Hosts Rotary Revival: Bluetooth Meets Vintage Tech

The Museum of Technology recently hosted "Rotary Revival: Bluetooth Meets Vintage Tech," a student-focused demonstration exploring the intersection of past and present technology. Students experimented with a Bluetooth adapter that allows a classic rotary phone to function with a modern cellphone, providing insight into both the mechanics of vintage devices and their potential applications today.

Beyond novelty, the event highlighted how adapting older technology can serve practical purposes, including accessibility for individuals with physical or cognitive challenges. Those interested in learning more can contact Tina Ashford at mot@mga.edu.
