As announced on Wednesday, March 5, Anderson Ligon, head coach of MGA Athletics women's basketball program, has made the decision to step down from the position after 19 seasons. 41 NBC highlighted the announcement.
"Coach Ligon compiled over 100 victories at both the NJCAA and NAIA levels in his 19 years on the bench with MGA, highlighted by a trip to the 2009 NJCAA National Tournament. Ligon will continue in his role as an Associate Professor in the MGA School of Business while turning his focus to full-time teaching beginning in the 2025-26 academic year."
