Knights Big Doubles Win Leads to Victory | Women's Tennis

Knights women's tennis was back on their home court again on Sunday, March 2, as they hosted the Bees of SCAD-Atlanta. The Knights were looking to keep their winning streak alive as it had reached six matches in a row.

The match got started in a big way for the Knights with the #1 doubles match with Marina Prieto Gonfaus and Ainhoa Meili Fernandez del Moral facing off against the 2nd-ranked doubles team in NAIA. The Knights picked up the big win 6-4 and got a win in the #2 doubles match as they grabbed the doubles point. The Bees and Knights traded points in singles competition with the Knights winning the #2 singles match while the Bees won the #1 and 4 singles matches to tie the overall match at 2-2. The Knights won the final three points of the match to win 5-2.

The Knights will be back on the court on Friday, March 7, at 1 p.m. when they host the Fillies of Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College.
