Knights Sweep Fillies | Women's Tennis

Knights women's tennis was back on the court on Friday, March 7, as they hosted the Fillies of Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College (ABAC). The Knights were riding an eight-match winning streak and looking to notch another win.

The Knights only had to win one doubles match as ABAC only played two doubles teams. The Knights won both doubles matches that were played and they got the point. The Fillies played only five players in singles to give the Knights a point by forfeit. Yana Prihach and Aya El Marrasse Zarioui both won their singles match 6-0, 6-2 to clinch the match for the Knights. The Knights finished off the Fillies, winning the other three remaining matches, to earn the sweep.

The Knights will be back in action on Friday, March 14, as they head to Montgomery, Alabama for the first SSAC Roundup of the season, where they will take on the Rams of the University of Mobile at 9 a.m. CST.
