School of Computing students discussed their research findings at Middle Georgia State University’s 2025 Interdisciplinary Student Conference.
On April 9, students Soo Lee and Thien Pham discussed their findings from their research, “Evaluating the iHairstyle App’s Impact Across Generations.” Peers Ian Bentley and Connor Wood explained their findings on the augmented reality application, “Point of View.” Students in Dr. Spangler's Human-Computer Interaction Computer Science Analysis course studied the perceptions of augmented reality applications' acceptance on smart devices as hands-on research projects.
On April 11, students Reema Bhaskar and Tyris Kimball discussed their findings from their research on AI, "The Digital Renaissance: An analysis of the critical thinking and learning evolution in the age of artificial intelligence and the Rise of AI in Robotics and human-like machines.” Students in Dr. Spangler's Human-Computer Interaction Computer Science Analysis course studied the perceptions of artificial intelligence and augmented reality applications' acceptance on smart devices as hands-on research projects.
