Former MGA flight student Karlee Jordan is "all airplanes all the time." Jordan was recently profiled by General Aviation News, who highlighted her experience as a first-generation pilot with a passion for all things aviation.
Jordan obtained her instrument rating from MGA's School of Aviation while traveling back-and-fortch from Tennessee, where she was woring on her glider rating from Chilhowee Gliderport.
"'I was already in love with powered flying and then I fell in love with gliders as well,' she says. 'I was still working on my instrument rating then, so during the week I’d be down at Middle Georgia flying, and on the weekends I’d come up and fly at Chilhowee.'"
From planes to gliders, these days, she spends more time in the air than on the ground.
"'Earning my certificates and ratings at various locations gave me a wide variety of fresh perspectives on different flight schools, training styles, Part 141, and Part 61,' she notes."
