With heartfelt sorrow, we announce the tragic passing of current MGA student Denilson E. Perez on Wednesday, March 12, 2025.
Perez transferred to MGA in the summer of 2022, majoring in information technology with a concentration in IT Software Engineering. Perez was named on the President's List in the Fall Semester 2022, Spring Semester 2023, and Spring Semester 2024 for having at least a 3.8 GPA.
Services were held on March 16 at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Warner Robins, Ga. Condolences may be expressed online.
The MGA flag will be flown on all campuses for one week in memory of Perez. The flag will then be taken down, placed in a special memorial display case, and presented to the family as a symbol of respect and remembrance. A letter of condolence will also be sent to the family from the President’s Office.
