Occupational Therapy Students Conduct Fieldwork at Bleckley County Primary School

Students in MGA's Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (MSOT) Program visited Bleckley County Primary School as part of a level one fieldwork experience, which focused on assessment and intervention with the pediatric population.

Students in the Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (MSOT) program visited Bleckley County Primary School as part of a level one fieldwork experience, which focused on assessment and intervention with the pediatric population.

Students administered occupational therapy assessments appropriate for pre-K students, and planned and led therapeutic group activities within the classroom while supervised by MSOT faculty, Dr. Eugenia Herbst, academic fieldwork coordinator, and Dr. Emily Riggs, assistant professor and instructor for the Pediatric Assessment and Intervention course.
