The Association of Information Technology Students (AITS) spent multiple weeks preparing for mock interviews with the Center for Career and Leadership Development’s Myra Gist, Dr. Heather McIntosh, and Dr. Mary Roberts.
Students learned about job preparation, social media advertising for the market space, and resume building before undergoing their first professional industry partner’s mock interview session on Tuesday, April 8. School of Computing advisory board members volunteered their time to interview students and prepare them for the job field. Students engaged with the professionals and received feedback after their sessions to understand how to gain and further their growth mindsets.
