Dr. Greg George Discusses 'Brimming' Labor Market for Upcoming Graduates

Dr. Greg George, economist and director of MGA’s Center for Economic Analysis, talks to 13WMAZ about the brimming job market and the increasing employment rate for graduates entering the workforce.

"More than 60% of jobs in Georgia this year will require some form of college education - a record high, according to the Governor’s Office of Student Achievement. With technology reshaping every industry, George said it is essential for graduates to sharpen their skills.

"'With advances in artificial intelligence and quantum computing and all these new technologies that are starting to pop, any particular profession is going to require some literacy in computers,' George said."
