Middle Georgia State University and Dublin High School are partnering to give students a head start on future healthcare careers.
On Thursday, May 1, leaders signed a dual-enrollment articulation agreement providing students at the high school with the opportunity to take healthcare-related college-level courses and start on their career paths.
"'We're signing a Dual Enrollment Articulation Agreement to create seamless pathways for the health sciences including nursing, teaching, occupational therapy, respiratory therapy, and physical therapy assistants, specifically so that students can start gaining credits towards their college degree while still in high school; up to 26 credits,'" said Dr. David Jenks, provost of MGA.
