This summer, for the first time, MGA’s School of Health and Natural Sciences hosted Scrubs Camp, an interactive camp for teens to help spark their interest in healthcare careers. Over June 3-5 on the Macon Campus, students participated in interactive activities with MGA science and health faculty members in nursing, respiratory therapy, occupational therapy, and rehab science.
MGA hosted 25 campers for this inaugural year. The camp was held in partnership with the Three Rivers Area Health Education Center, which serves 28 counties.
