Scheduled Training Exercise: Wednesday, June 25 (Macon Campus)

For awareness for the Macon Campus community, the MGA Police and the Bibb County Sheriff's Office will conduct a planned operational readiness exercise this Wednesday, June 25, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

What to expect:

• Increased police presence on campus
• Officers will tour buildings and conduct assessments
• The Special Response Team (SRT) will be training near the tennis courts and in the vicinity of the track

Important notes:

• This is a training exercise, not an emergency drill
• The exercise should not disrupt classroom or learning environments
