MGA alumnus Daniel Foreman (class of 2017) will be the featured virtual coffeehouse lecture session speaker on Tuesday, August 19 at 5:30 p.m. The public and University community are invited to attend via Microsoft Teams.
Foreman earned his bachelor’s degree from the School of Computing's information technology program. He began his career at Hewlett-Packard Enterprise as a technical solutions consultant on the server hardware team. While working full-time, he continued preparing for a transition into cybersecurity, earning his Security+ certification. This credential opened the door to a level one security analyst role at Georgia Farm Bureau Insurance. He advanced to a level 2 position at the Georgia Farm Bureau and was quickly promoted to senior security engineer. Foreman designs and implements new security functions that protect the organization in his current role.
