Rhodes was named the new head coach for the women's basketball program this spring. He comes to MGA after most recently serving as the Associate Head Coach at the University of South Carolina-Upstate. Prior to his time on the Spartans bench Rhodes worked as an assistant coach North Carolina A&T between 2020-2022.
