Madison Lowery Joins MGA Women’s Basketball Staff

MGA women's basketball head coach Steven Rhodes has named Madison Lowery to the Knights staff as an assistant coach. A former NCAA Division I and II student-athlete and coach, Lowery is set to begin her duties with the Knights on Aug. 1.

Lowery joins the MGA coaching staff as a full-time assistant coach following a two-year stint with Valdosta State University as a graduate assistant coach. Prior to joining the coaching ranks at VSU, she competed for three seasons at the University of Massachusetts before closing out her playing career at Division II powerhouse, Wingate University.

"Hiring my assistant was the most important decision I've made in the early stages of building this program, and I truly feel like I hit a home run with Madison," said Rhodes.
