Middle Georgia State University, College of Coastal Georgia Sign Agreement to Expand Graduate Opportunities in Cybersecurity and IT

Middle Georgia State University (MGA) and the College of Coastal Georgia (CCGA) have signed a new articulation agreement that guarantees qualified CCGA undergraduates streamlined admission into MGA’s fully online Master of Science in Information Technology program. 

The agreement, effective July 1, 2025, reflects the University System of Georgia’s commitment to collaboration across institutions to meet critical workforce demands in high-impact fields. 

"Partnerships like these are what make the University System of Georgia special," said Johnny L. Evans Jr., Ph.D., president of the College of Coastal Georgia. "We are working together, across institutions, to meet the cybersecurity needs of the industry, the state and the nation. The College of Coastal Georgia and Middle Georgia State University are impacting Georgia as we prepare world-class talent in cyber defense and cybersecurity. Together, we will continue to strengthen the preparation pipeline for a nation ready to face future threats."
