MGA Head Softball Coach Inducted into Appalachian Athletic Conference Hall of Fame

Congratulations to Randi Wimpy, MGA head softball coach, who was recently announced as an inductee into the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Hall of Fame.

"Randi Wimpy came into the AAC carrying a big bat and left her mark as one of the best to take to the diamond," writes the AAC.

"Most astounding is the fact that Wimpy was named the AAC Player of the Year and an NAIA First Team All-American not once, but three times. Wimpy helped Reinhardt win or share the AAC regular-season title three times and the tournament crown twice. Reinhardt posted an impressive 52-8 conference record during Wimpy's three seasons."

Coach Wimpy served as MGA softball's interim head coach after the 2023 SSAC Softball Tournament and led the Knights throughout the 2023-24 academic year. She now serves as head coach, and continues to blaze a trail of glory with the Knights.
