Middle Georgia State University (MGA) officially dedicated new competition and event facilities at the Georgia Premier Cross Country Course on the Macon Campus during a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Sept. 10. The upgrades were made possible through partnerships with Macon-Bibb County and Visit Macon.
The expansion includes a covered pavilion, team locker rooms, public restrooms, concessions, and a large parking area, all designed to enhance the site’s ability to host major events. These improvements are expected to strengthen recreational opportunities for the community while boosting tourism across the region.
