Celebrating Respiratory Care Week
October 19–25, 2025
This week marks National Respiratory Care Week, a time to recognize and celebrate the essential work of Respiratory Therapists (RTs) in healthcare. RTs provide life-saving care in hospitals, clinics, and homes, managing complex conditions such as asthma, COPD, and respiratory failure.
At Middle Georgia State University, the accredited Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Therapy program prepares new therapists for dynamic healthcare careers, while the online AS to BS Bridge Program helps current Registered Respiratory Therapists advance their education.
MGA’s Respiratory Therapy program, established in 1994, has been recognized for seven consecutive years by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) for outstanding credentialing success.
Join us in celebrating our RTs, alumni, and students in training for their vital contributions to patient care.
