Goth-tober: A Celebration of the Gothic in All Its Forms - October 14-28

Goth-tober: A Celebration of the Gothic in All Its Forms

October 14-28

Weekly presentations in Macon, Cochran, and online.

This October, the MGA Library invites Knights to explore the dark, dramatic, and diverse world of the Gothic through Goth-tober, a month-long series of faculty-led presentations and events. From the windswept moors of the Brontë sisters to the architectural uproar over Keble College, we’ll journey through the evolution of Gothic art, architecture, and literature—and beyond.

Discover the unexpected intersections of science and style in “Microbes in the Gothic Period”, and dive into the cultural chaos of “Modern Gothic: Fashion, Film, Fiction, Music, and Mayhem.” Whether you're drawn to medieval cathedrals, Victorian novels, or punk aesthetics, Goth-tober offers a rich tapestry of scholarship and spectacle.
