MGA and Central Georgia Tech Sign Transfer Agreement to Streamline Degree Pathways for Students

Students at Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) can now transfer seamlessly into bachelor’s degree programs at Middle Georgia State University (MGA) after completing associate’s degrees in education, social work, psychology, or criminal justice.

Leaders from both institutions signed a formal transfer agreement on Oct. 2 at MGA’s Macon Campus. The agreement ensures that CGTC students who meet MGA’s admission and transfer requirements will have their credits accepted toward a related bachelor’s program, helping streamline the path to graduation and strengthen academic pathways between the schools.

“Our longstanding relationship with Middle Georgia State University has proven to be of significant impact to generations of Middle Georgia students and their families,” said Dr. Ivan H. Allen, president of CGTC. “These recent additions to our partnership mean more access for students and a healthy pipeline of professionals in key industries that make our communities stronger.”
