MGA has set a new enrollment record this fall, reaching the highest student headcount in University history. This milestone marks MGA’s fourth consecutive semester of record-breaking enrollment and the eighth straight semester of overall growth.
A total of 8,828 students are enrolled for the fall 2025 semester, a 6.8% increase in new undergraduate students, fueled by a 13% jump in transfer enrollment. The University also celebrated its highest-ever overall and new graduate student numbers.
Christopher Blake, Ph.D., MGA’s president, said the continued growth shows the success of the University’s long-term strategic enrollment plan.
“Our focus on affordability, accessibility, and strong academic programs has positioned Middle Georgia State as a university of choice, and that focus is paying off in the record enrollments we’ve seen in consecutive years," he said. "As we strive to be the public university for the region, our growth reflects the effectiveness of our intentional planning and collaboration across campuses and with our communities to serve the public by providing stronger credentials, enhanced professional opportunities, and an improved quality of life.”
