Central Georgia Technical College students who complete new associate’s degrees in education, social work, psychology, or criminal justice can now transfer seamlessly into bachelor’s programs at Middle Georgia State University.
That’s thanks to a formal transfer agreement leaders of both institutions signed at an October 2 event at Middle Georgia State’s (MGA’s) Macon Campus.
Under the agreement, Central Georgia Tech (CGTC) students who complete any of the four associate’s degree programs will have those credits accepted toward a comparable bachelor’s degree at MGA if they meet the University’s required admission and transfer standards.
This policy supports smoother transitions, accelerates time to degree completion, and reinforces pathways between institutions.
