The Knights hit the road Monday to face the Panthers of LaGrange College, looking to bounce back and build momentum heading into the final stretch of the season. From the opening whistle, the Knights dominated possession and set the pace.
Fiona Madigan put MGA on the board early in the 13th minute with an assist from Nicole Beasley, who followed up with a goal of her own in the 26th minute to give the Knights a 2-0 lead at halftime. The Knights continued their offensive push in the second half, outshooting the Panthers 19-2 overall and 12-2 in shots on goal, while goalkeeper Diana Cipriano secured the shutout victory.
The Knights return home Saturday, October 25, to host Lander University. Kickoff is set for 1:30 p.m.
