Office of Housing & Residence Life Recognized with Georgia Gee Whiz Award

MGA's Office of Housing and Residence Life recently received the Georgia Gee Whiz Award at the 2025 Georgia Housing Officers (GHO) Conference, held at Georgia State University.

The award recognizes the Office’s Festival of Noble Knights initiative, which focuses on improving retention and enhancing the overall residential experience for returning students in on-campus housing.

In addition to the recognition, Dr. Christina Jackson, executive director of Housing and Residence Life, and Keyun Rawlings, residence life coordinator, presented a session titled Revitalizing a Housing Department … And Yourself!” The presentation highlighted strategies for reinvigorating housing operations while supporting personal and professional growth.

The Office of Housing and Residence Life was represented at the conference by Dr. Jackson and residence life coordinators, Taylor Royal and Keyun Rawlings.
