With heartfelt sorrow, we announce the tragic passing of current MGA student Maya Viust on Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2025.
Maya transferred to MGA in the spring of 2025, majoring in Interdisciplinary Studies. She had hoped to pursue a career in clinical psychology.
Services were held on Oct. 25 at St. John Baptist Church in Gainesville, Ga. Condolences may be expressed online.
The MGA flag will be flown on all campuses for one week in memory of Maya. A letter of condolence will also be sent to the family from the President’s Office.
