Dr. Mary Shotwell Presents Research at Georgia Occupational Therapy Annual Conference

Dr. Mary Shotwell, adjunct instructor in the Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (MSOT) program, presented a research poster titled, “Normative and Concurrent Validity of the Chicago Quick Hand Function Test,” at the Georgia Occupational Therapy Annual Conference in Helen, Ga., on Oct. 24.

Shotwell, the project advisor, presented on behalf of MSOT students Katlyn Buchanan, Brandy Clements, Mary Cummings and Kevin West, who were completing their clinical fieldwork and unable to attend the conference.

The same poster was previously presented by the students at the American Occupational Therapy Association Conference in April. The MSOT program continues to earn recognition for its academic excellence and scholarly achievement.
