Merritt Myers Wall, an accomplished higher education leader with more than two decades of experience in government affairs and university advancement, is the new chief government and community relations officer at Middle Georgia State University (MGA).
Wall, who began her new role this month, leads MGA’s efforts to strengthen partnerships with government and community stakeholders. She serves as the University’s primary liaison to local, state, and federal officials, as well as civic and business leaders, advancing legislative and community priorities and promoting the institution’s mission as a catalyst for regional growth.
“I am thrilled to join Middle Georgia State University and to be part of a team so deeply committed to the success of the students and communities we serve,” Wall said. “MGA plays a significant role as a producer of workforce-ready graduates. I look forward to collaborating with partners to strengthen connections, advance opportunity, and champion the University’s vital role in driving growth and innovation.”
