The Department of History and Political Science at Middle Georgia State University invites students, faculty, and community members to “Winds of Change: A Look at Contemporary Global Issues,” the first Political Science discussion event of the Spring 2026 semester. Dr. John Hall, Dr. Thomas Matyók, and colleagues will examine timely international developments, including the Russian-Ukrainian War, the situation in Iran, ongoing conflict in the Middle East, tariffs and trade, and more.
This interactive virtual panel provides an opportunity to engage with experts and ask questions about today’s most pressing global challenges. The event is co-sponsored by the Department of History and Political Science, the Political Science Student Organization, and the Alpha Mu Zeta chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha, the national political science honor society.
