Middle Georgia State University is celebrating a milestone with the first graduating cohort of its Doctor of Science in Public Safety program, a practice-focused doctorate preparing professionals for advanced leadership roles across the field.
“The networking has been huge,” says Shelby Hatcher-Gosnell, director of Clery Act Compliance at Emory University and a member of the inaugural class. “This is about taking research and applying it to day-to-day practice so we can continue to improve the field.”
