Dear MGA Community,
As we turn the corner into spring, there’s a renewed sense of energy and possibility across MGA. This season of new beginnings feels especially meaningful as we move through the first year of our second decade as a University, a moment that invites us to look ahead with purpose and optimism.
This week we celebrate Homecoming at MGA, and I encourage everyone to take part in the events happening across our campuses. Whether you attend an event, cheer on Knights Athletics, or simply show your school spirit, your participation strengthens the sense of connection that defines our community. Homecoming is also a powerful reminder of the lifelong bonds formed here — bonds that continue to shape the personal and professional journeys of our more than 47,000 alumni. Their achievements across Georgia and beyond reflect the enduring impact of an MGA education and the relationships that begin on our campuses and last a lifetime.
I also want to extend heartfelt congratulations to our women’s basketball team on a historic season. With a record number of single season wins for MGA women’s basketball and the distinction of becoming the first Knights team to compete in a Peach Belt Conference tournament, the players have set a new standard of excellence. Their success extended well beyond the court, reflected in an impressive fall 2025 team GPA of 3.45, with six players earning a perfect 4.0 for the semester. Their commitment to excellence — athletically and academically — shows the determination, teamwork, and resilience that define the very best of MGA.
As we look ahead to the last half of the spring semester, I hope we continue to build on the momentum that defines MGA. Our students, faculty, staff, and alumni all contribute to a community whose value extends far beyond graduation. The return on investment of an MGA education is measured not only in career outcomes, but in the lifelong relationships, mentorships, and networks that support our graduates for decades. Your dedication and spirit strengthen our community every day, and I’m confident we’ll finish the semester with pride and purpose as we move forward together.
Go Knights!
Chris
