April 1 | Macon, TEB 226 | 11 AM – 1 PM
The Writing Center presents the Foolish Essay Contest, a new event where students are challenged to "glow-up" a confusing and poorly written essay. Participants can work individually or in groups to revise the "foolish" text for a chance to win prizes based on their improvements.
Students should plan to stay between 30 and 60 minutes to complete the revision tasks. The event includes refreshments and a fun atmosphere for sharpening editing skills. As with other Writing Center events, professors will be notified of student attendance in case extra credit is available.
