SOAL's Intention Tree

March 16 – 30 | Macon Campus | Arts Complex Lobby

The School of Arts & Letters presents the Intention Tree, a collaborative art installation for the 2026 Arts Festival that turns everyday recyclables into a community masterpiece. Students are invited to help the tree "sprout" by creating leaves from clean trash and adding them to branches assigned to different SoAL programs.

This public project highlights the environmental impact of recycling while allowing students to represent their specific academic areas through art. Participants can drop by the lobby at any time during the two-week window to contribute to the installation; scan the QR codes on-site for specific instructions on how to craft your contribution.
