Digital Humanities and Research Virtual Workshop

April 22 | Virtual via Teams | 11 AM EST

Middle Georgia State University presents a workshop on Digital Humanities and Research featuring guest speaker Dr. Jennifer Andrella, Assistant Professor at the University of Southern Mississippi. This session provides an introduction to the various digital tools and platforms—including mapping, data visualization, and digital archives—that can enhance and supplement research across a wide spectrum of academic disciplines.

Participants will learn how to integrate these digital approaches into their own scholarship and projects. Dr. Andrella, creator of "Mapping the Upper Missouri," will share insights applicable to many fields beyond the humanities. This workshop is made possible in part by a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities.
