First-Ever MGA Study Abroad Program To India Gives Students Transformative Experiences

Nine Middle Georgia State University students recently returned from a transformative two-week study abroad program in India, marking the first time the university has offered such an experience. Based at Vijaybhoomi University near Mumbai, the students participated in a specialized curriculum focused on AI, robotics, and renewable energy, alongside cultural excursions to historic temples and industry tours of the National Stock Exchange.

This inaugural trip was made possible through a generous multi-year gift from Dr. Manoj and Hansa Shah, whose scholarship support aims to reduce financial barriers and provide students with invaluable global perspectives through 2029.
