Raku Pottery Workshop

March 31 | Macon, Outside Arts Complex Lobby | 2 PM – 4:30 PM // April 2 | Cochran, Outside Russell Hall | 12:30 PM – 3 PM

The School of Arts and Letters presents a Raku Pottery Workshop featuring an interactive demonstration with Heatherly Day. Participants can learn the unique process of creating raku pottery and glaze their own miniature pots made with Lizella clay. The workshop includes an on-site firing using a microwave kiln, and everyone will leave with a beautiful piece of miniature pottery.

These sessions will run while supplies last, so be sure to stop by early. Come out to learn about the history and technique of raku while painting your own custom mini pot.
