About 760 students graduated from Middle Georgia State University during spring 2026 commencement ceremonies held May 13-14 on the Macon Campus. Graduates earned doctorates, master’s degrees, bachelor’s degrees, associate degrees, and certificates across a wide range of academic programs.
The ceremonies also marked a historic milestone for MGA, as the University conferred its first-ever honorary doctorates on former University System of Georgia Board of Regents members Robert F. Hatcher Sr. and Larry Walker Jr. for their contributions to higher education and support of MGA’s growth into a state university.
