Middle Georgia State University is looking for faculty, staff, and student leaders to help create a warm and welcoming first impression for the fall semester. The "Need Help? Ask Me!" Welcome Back Information Tables will be set up across our campuses to greet new and returning students, answer basic questions, and help them feel at home as they begin their academic journey.
Volunteers will sign up for one-hour shifts to help welcome students, distribute campus maps, and hand out light refreshments. Table locations include the area outside Walker Hall and Grace Hall on the Cochran campus, as well as the curb in front of the Student Life Center and the bottom of the stairs at the Charles H. Jones Building on the Macon campus. We are looking to schedule 2 to 3 volunteers at each location per hour.
Whether you can volunteer for one hour or multiple shifts, your support helps show our students what it means to be an MGA Knight.
