October 9 | Macon Campus | 10 AM – 1 PM
Middle Georgia State University and local community partners present the Ride, Walk, & Wellness Celebration, an event focused on movement, health, and connecting students with mobility resources throughout Macon-Bibb County. Attendees can explore local organizations, learn about community programs, and test out the new MGA Bike Share by taking one of the new bikes for a spin around campus.
The schedule of indoor activities includes bicycle safety lessons led by Bike Walk Macon Education Instructor Rudy Mendes at 10 AM and 12 PM, as well as a presentation by Macon-Bibb County Traffic Safety Manager Weston Stroud at 11 AM. Whether you ride, walk, roll, drive, or use public transportation, the event offers a great opportunity to discover ways to stay active and get around.
