December 12 | Macon Campus | Volunteer Shift: 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM
The School of Education & Behavioral Sciences, led by Dean Dr. David Biek, hosts the 9th Annual FIRST LEGO League Regional Tournament! More than a robotics competition, this biology-themed "Bioglow" tournament brings together over 24 teams and 240+ students in grades 4–8 from across regional school districts for a day of hands-on STEAM learning, creativity, and problem-solving.
Volunteers are needed to help make this day a success, especially team judges! No robotics or technical background is required, just enthusiasm and a commitment to encouraging the next generation of thinkers. Volunteers will receive complimentary food, a volunteer t-shirt, and an opportunity to judge at the State Championship at Georgia Tech in February. MGA faculty, staff, students, community members, friends, and family are all welcome to sign up.
