Applications are being accepted today for the Spring Break 2027 Study Abroad program to India! The application deadline is approaching, and the first informational meeting will be held on November 3 at 2:00 PM on Teams.

Program Overview

Are you ready for an intellectual journey that goes far beyond traditional sightseeing? We are excited to invite students from all majors to apply for the Spring Break 2027 Study Abroad Scholarship program to India. This immersive experience is designed to provide a deep, multi-faceted understanding of one of the world’s most dynamic and culturally diverse societies.

Locations include:

• Mumbai
• Bengaluru
• Pune
• Vijaybhoomi University

Program Highlights

This trip offers a unique opportunity to encounter India through several critical lenses, including democracy, economic development, and digital innovation. By participating, you will develop cross-cultural communication skills, interpret cultural practices without stereotypes, and reflect on the implications of India’s global rise for your career in the U.S.

• Technology & Finance: Visit the National Stock Exchange, attend an India Stack session, and explore the front lines of AI, data science, and Global Capability Centers
• Education & Creativity: Interact with students at Vijaybhoomi University, engage with JAGSoM faculty, and go behind the scenes at a Bollywood studio
• Wellness & Culture: Visit the Art of Living center and interpret Indian knowledge traditions and wellness approaches first-hand

Middle Georgia State University is committed to making this trip accessible and will award 10 scholarships to support student participation. Whether this is your first time traveling abroad or you are a seasoned traveler, you are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

• Open to all students and all majors

• Must possess a valid passport (or be willing to obtain one)

• A willingness to engage deeply with new cultures and environments

• Earns credit through a 3-credit course
