Academic Year 2026 – 2027 | Federal Work Study Campaign
Middle Georgia State University is now accepting requests for the Federal Work Study (FWS) program. This is a great opportunity for departments to gain extra help in their offices by hiring student workers at no cost to their departmental budget, as students are paid through federal funds.
FWS offers students the chance to earn money through part-time employment while gaining the professional experience needed to enter the job market. To be eligible, students must complete the 2026–2027 FAFSA. MGA has received its largest allocation to date, so there are more opportunities than ever to bring student talent into your office. Those interested in hiring a student worker for the upcoming academic year should reach out to the Financial Aid Office.
