After two years of enrollment decline, according to the University System of Georgia’s (USG) official report released on November 14, the USG saw an enrollment increase of 3 percent in fall 2023, hitting a record high of 344,392 students. MGA also saw an enrollment increase of nearly 5 percent, with enrollment reaching 8,039 students.
"'Duel enrollment and graduate enrollment were the highest increases we've ever seen, with 28% freshmen enrollment growing 27% in 2 years,' says [Stephen Schultheis, Middle Georgia State's vice president for enrollment]."
