MGA Celebrates Veterans Day with Central Georgia

MGA celebrated Veterans Day with the Central Georgia community!

The University honored heros by hosting a Cherry Blossom Festival Veterans Day 5K & Fun Run on the Macon Campus, serving as a supporting sponsor of the event. Students, staff, and faculty were encouraged to lace up their sneakers and participate!

On Monday, November 11, MGA co-hosted its annual Veterans Day ceremony held at downtown Macon's Coleman Hill monument. The University and Macon-Bibb County co-host the event each year, honoring all veterans and remembering the sacrifices made by the 151st Machine Gun Battalion, 42nd Rainbow Division, members of which lost their lives during World War I.
